I went ran it real quick today. Had a few small issues. First, the esc receiver connector is about worn out. I had to squeeze the pins tighter. I'll just change the plug. Next it kept cutting out. Found out water is moving up the flex shady and got into my "waterproof" Mr200 receiver. Evidently it's not waterproof. Usually epoxy coat the boards but this is a new one I just got and didn't do it yet. Well my run was cut short because of that. It was pretty quick tho. Esc didn't run hot, motor ran a tad warm tho. I had a 2650kv 1512 running on 4s. The first prop I tried was a 38mm 1.4 pitch cnc aluminum prop. It was horrible. So I changed to an Octura 38mm prop. Much much faster. Here's the best video I have.

MR200 have a thick coat of conformal coating, epoxy is another type we use in the Navy in a pinch. When it comes to RX the waterproof weakness is the contacts, water shorts them out. Good indication that your boat is filling up with waterI have all MR200 RX and they hold up well.
As for the timing of replies, I was planting a garden today with my kids. I have posted videos and gotten a response weeks later...and some not at all. But I know everybody still loves me!
Thanks for sharing your video!

Unless your boat is going at a record speed, chances are that people watch and don't really reply, I consider it a nice surprise when people comment on my video. I understand everyone has different expectations.
Still, I just got to my desk top and watched your run, I love how the boat is riding, good job!
Too many boats, not enough time...Comment

I also find it a mystery to rely on the counter, it seems sometimes for days or even weeks the counter remains the same. It only changes when people comment on it and I thought it works differently. Anyway, I am guilty of forgetting to look into this section myself sometimes. I also find that over the course of a week, the frequency of viewing has a pattern. Guess I have nothing better to do , but if I were still in college, I will do a research on this pattern and present a paper to fool my professor and get some easy credit!Too many boats, not enough time...Comment

I always hit "latest posts" at the top to see what's new. I usually don't miss much that way. Update on it...I changed the motor to a 1800kv 1512 from a 1512 2650kv on 4s. New setup to run 6s. I know it's only about 1000rpm more, it should push the prop a Ltd let better when I up the prop. Gives me mo tree flexibility in speed too. 4s to cruise and 6s to fly.
