    Popeye

Thought I'd put it here rather than clutter up Dobys' thread.
Bit of a test run with a home made turn fin & an M445 prop on a 2200kv motor. She runs a bit quicker with a Y547 prop.

See the danger. THEN DO IT ANYWAY!!!

    Nice work!
that Popeye is ripping the pond up on the 4082 motor
im going to try a TP 4074 2200KV when i go for a carbon fibre version here in the UK.
yes its also available in carbon fibre as well, just need to ask Monica, looks like any thing is possible at TFL

is that all the run time your getting on the 4082 motor or was that just a 1 minute run and check temps?

              Thanks doby.
Yes, The lake at our Race club is much bigger but I haven't had a chance to really try it out up there yet. Just a couple of runs on a really choppy day.

              sampit.
Yep. Just a quick test & check on the M445 prop. I think there was still 60% left in that pack. Single packs only here in Oz. No parallel packs for racing.
The TFL motors are good cool running efficient motors.
I'll get a video with the detongued Y547 next weekend. Nice prop.

Thanks. You'll love it i'm sure.

Thanks. There's more speed in it yet. You should check out doby's thread if you haven't seen it already.

                    Ron.
Yes it does. I should have dropped the strut a bit for the M445. But it was early testing.

Thanks Heaving Earth. Drives well too.
