Nice running boats John...Hope to see you at the Namba Nationals in June..Lets hope we don't get the rain we had this year. I've been thinking of picking up a MC to run in P-Limited Cat.

Impossible. With a spec 1800kv motor? Nope you are lying those motors are junk and always burn up... :-). Lookin good man. If you don't mind me asking are you running a big diameter to get those speeds or is it more pitch?. I had my MG running 46 mph on a x447 that has been detounged and I rounded the tips just a butt hair. Yesterday I had a long time gas racer cup the tips and it was noticeably faster. No gps on it yet but man I was blown away by how much faster it felt and he barely touched it.

Super cool video - Thanks (love the cameo appearance of the pooch)

The rescue boat is BEAUTIFUL - just love it

Motley Crew ALL THE WAY - Mine took second at the 2012 NAMBA Nat's (behind Brian's MC) and mine just took 2013 High Points at the SCSTA D19 finals yesterday (although TheShaugnessy's Geico was about to eat me up until )

        MC AQ2030 M445 4S2P 3700's : 52.6 mph (note the pit pooch commentary)

Yup, 1800 Kv (plain old boring stock motor) and a single Turnigy 5800 30c 4s pack. The controller isn't stock, the 60 amp AQ controller had a meltdown in Michigan this year..so it got replaced with a 90 amp HK ($40ish bucks) ESC. The motor is just finishing its 3rd season of abuse and still going strong.

          The prop is a X452.

I can even run a 4 minute offshore with this setup and have about 20% left in the tank.

I've thought of running a single 4S pack but was worried about lateral balance. I'm curious; where did you place the pack ?

Thanks ! I wanted to try that but thought it might upset the turning balance ; your boat in the vid looks quite stable. I've been running 4S2P 3700's using the extra weight to prevent airobatics - we race in gasserwater so keeping it from bouncing too much and flipping has been a consideration.

Really nice runs and I am thinking the P15 might be a little over scale speed ......Perfect!!!!!
