    Mystic 29 Speed Run's 62.3 and Stable

Ok I know you guys have seen this hull plenty of times. But I haven't really shown a video of my Mystic yet. I figured I'd try 5s2p for a little fun. To my surprise it was pretty stable. Here is a quick video of my last 2 passes. My forerunner 201 showed 62.3mph.

Thanks, she runs pretty well like that. I flipped her once when I got on the throttle a little too fast, but when I ease it onto a plane she becomes pretty stable. Just have to remember to ease "off" throttle, you can hear the flex get slammed back when I let off too fast. Lol

Well this is nice to see! I have close to the same setup in my geico. I lost my gps in a blowover so I havent gps it yet. Im running a 1515 castle 2200 kv motor, x642 prop s/b, on 5s. Ive tried 6s but it just flys out the water when I get to full throttle. Nice pass btw!

            Nice run!

It looks like Tony captured my Mystic 29 "Minus-Two" for a couple of passes earlier this month... Neu 1512 on 2S2P... 65.xxx mph average speed... (for the entire 330ft distance between the timing lights)

Still had quite a bit more to get, but the ESC decided to give up before I could get more passes on her. (turned out to be an issue with the latest "beta" version of Castle S/W... )

A little bit heavy and quite a bit of boat for only 2S... but definitely was able to handle the speed...

It's fun to see people making these go FAST! My estimation is that I should be able to get at least 72 or so on 2S... and could certainly push close to 90 on 4S, though that one might start getting flighty...

Thanks guys. Been burnt out on them for the last few weeks and haven't ran any of my boats. Thinking about trying an s225 with the same setup next time and see if I can get up to 65.

Nice run for you too Darin! 65mph on 2s.
