Lenny, I think you have got it perfect ! ...Reponse to our runtimes and temps .....our setup is a Leo 4082 2000kv & Leo 4074 2200kv 180amp esc w/capbank 2 3S 6600mah 65-130c lipos ..seperate cooling lines for motor & esc ..average runtime 4mins 30 secs +- a few secs ... highest temp 109 and thats running just like you were in your vid Lenny ...we are running around in the upper 60's plus per my radar gun....going to put a gps in them next to verify those speeds, but I do know they are fast..hope to have vids to share soon... Thank for the response and your findings and info,

Now stop teasing me about about video of yours that I may see some year soon.

Oh yeah and hear what I did today,
I wanted to go running boats but got side tracked and found these babies cheap in a barn.
How cheap you do not want to know,
They just need some modding and tlc & a cleaning up to be my retrieval rigs.

Well lets just say the one red kayak rig payed for it's self yesterday.
It was the last run of the day,
And very choppy and windy that it blow my hatch right off even with the tape I had on it,
So than I just ran the boat back to me and hoped in the kayak and started looking in the dark.
And found the hatch floating very low in the water about 30' from where it came off

So it's time for some hatch locks and a seal to.

I also was testing four TP 5s packs and one went up in a little smoke in my SUV but no fire,
It ran that pack for 2 minutes and than brought it in to check temps and volts and puff that was it for that cell.
I think they were all mistreated at one time to be as bad off as they are,
And way out of balance with supposedly only 6 cycles on all the packs.
The one that did smoke came to me with one very low cell at 3.46v that I took 8 hr to bring back up to normal volts,
But the pack was still weak I guess.
The other three packs ran the boat but are very very weak still.

So yes it was a very interesting day and night looking for the hatch in the dark to after the last run. LOL

                    I found max volts say 25.2V ,
But not sure because the spec are given for a sensored motor.

                    Max Amps(A): 105A
                    Max voltage: 25.2V
                    Max Power: 2600W
                    Ideal current: 2.5A @ 7.4V
                    KV(RPM/Volt):1800KV
                    Shaft Diameter (mm): 5
Shaft Length: 20mm (outside the motor)
                    Diameter×Length (mm): 39.8 x 73.8

So should that 2600W come from the 2.5A/7.4volts??

                          Hey.
I have no idea where or how they come up with those specifications.

Ok, not sure what 'ideal current' is to mean. To get 2600 watts at 7.4V it would take 350 amps. So who knows. Good news though, only 103 on 6s.

Not the best vid but a short view of what we are getting..its still a work in progress in this vid, trying a diff prop, results were a decrease in speed and the boat seemed to not handle as well. .....Leo 4074 2200kv HW 180 esc 6s 2 11.1v 65-130c nano's ...I apologize dont remember which prop ..we did get good results from a cnc 4075 untill it split...guess 6S to much for those cnc props.....

Just too add...we are having no motor/esc/lipo failures...no heat issues at all !!! My buddies and I are looking for what the top speeds some of our boats are capable of .. run times average around 4.5 mins......
