on board camera on JAE at 65 mph

    JAE with Swordfish220Pro Esc, 5000mah 40C Lipo, 2350kv 4 pole, ABC H4 prop
This setup is for Naviga racing so top speed is only 65mph, with a faster setup without worries on runtime speed is over 65mph

        tubes flexing

yes I noticed the flex also, consider the tubes are the stock carbonfiber tubes that come with the kit. lots of stress on them.
Any idea how to make them flex less ??

Maybe boom flex is a good thing, kinda like shock absorbers for the sponsons???

not realy after all they are not cars. it interferes with the setup of the boat. me personaly would not not use carbon especialy on big nitro boats.

I have been thinking about suspension recently, I clipped a buoy with my minisprint at last week's race and splintered my front left boom, I didn't have a spare with me so for the last race I taped the boom up and put some tape going round the sponson and tub to minimise movement as much as possible but I could still waggle the front up and down about an inch. some of the tape peeled and was dragging in the water, so I put a little more back into my cells when I recharged them afterwards but there were no bad handling or cornering issues and it seemed a little more stable through the rough patches than it was in the previous heat. I am now convinced there is a case to be had for suspension if it can be made small and light enough.

they are solid tubes thats why I was a little surpriesd, I could barley flex them before installing and look at them flex on the hull.

Some guys add a hollow aluminum tube same int. diam of the the carbon tube and glue them but I would have to disassemble the tubes and make the holes in the tub and
                      sponson larger. Any suggestions

Tubes are stiffer but much weaker, I would go with 3/8" rods if it really bothers you.
