    df explorer airborne

There were some gusting winds, and I'm running a new heavier lipo setup, apparently needs a few adjustments to keep i on the water better.

No damages, No water,...... no hatch tape, just cowl locks w/o-rings and foam strip to seal.
Not the first time, and won't be the last I'm sure.

Strut was a touch below being flat with sponsons on the table. I've tried various settings, and this gave me the best gps readings, but that was in calmer water.......
This is also my first runs with paralell 6s-5000mah, as opposed to series 3s-6600mah, so I need to experiment with placement a bit.

I would think the extra weight would help keep it on the water.
Are you just looking for fastest setup? Or handling?

Just running, tweaking and learning what it does. The weight does help keep it down, but the water and wind was tougher than the vid shows. I actually gained a couple mph with the paralell setup, now I have topped out at 69.3mph(up from 67.8), now I'll try to find that extra 3 tenths................

Batteries were on the way out. 2 new 4s on the way from Thunder power 100% under warranty. I was getting low 40's with the Stilletto with good lipos after the day we ran. It's on the shelf getting ready to be outfitted with a pvc frame to use it as a rescue rig now......
