    Had a bad day

I suppose it is bound to happen to everyone. It was my turn and I did it in grand style laughing in Karma's face. Here's the vid of part of it http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eHY6s...=youtube_gdata

And after that I decided the damage was above the water line and that I
needed to knock the batteries down some more.I made it out 50ft and
spun my flex out. With my nice M645 and the ball bearings that the shaft runs on .

And on top of that I maidened my Miss Bud hydro and flamed up a FC 160 ESC.You guys are right, that is a horrible smell.

I feel your pain. Lost two flex shafts complete with 1450 props, drive dogs and bushings from my JAE21 in three weeks. First time was defective flex shaft. Second time was operator error. . . not getting the flex shaft far enough into the three piece collett. Spent about an hour looking for the last one using snorkel and fins.

Back at it this past weekend though. . . lesson learned about three piece collets.

Join the club dude. Few weekends back I had one boat loose radio contact, took off and flipped violently and left two good lipo packs in the bottom of the river. Then another boat i toasted the motor and it took out my esc and reviever and yes it filled my boat with that horrible smell...lol

Well the worst of that day is the sign.I was running with a handicapped buddy whom lives across the street.Bad for him.

The Miss Bud got a new ESC and ran good today,at my regular pond. And yes I was on pins and needles in fear.

Thanks. 6 years of dedication, persistence and ambition and I got replaced by the owners son, who has little to no experience painting cars...

Yea, bad weekend here too, shocker went sky diveing again. And yes I forgot to put the noodles infront of the batts and one battery got loose. Slid up front and split the seam between sponsons.
Then had just put a wire drive in the pursuit, to make her very reliable. I didn't have the 93 collet so I drilled a smaller on out, didn't really clean the edges and it cut into the wire and broke. New longer made shaft drive dog moded prop, nut all in Davies locker! Ended the weekend as I didn't have much with me.

Hey good luck with the new job Dana
