Has anyone seen this video yet?
I guess running a high performance mono with a heavy camera perched on top may have not been within the design parameters of the hull.
I don't know why it appears that the throttle stuck open and drove the boat, pretty much straight (into) the bottom and held it there (willing to bet it was driver error) but running the packs to the point where the motor dies (which subsequently released the hull from the bottom) can't be good for the lipos.
Like I said in the title...after all the work that went into making this hull the great racing mono it is, there is always some clown that will treat it like a toy. Why does it seem like the size of some people's bank accounts are inversely proportionate to the size of their IQs?
