I think on that vid was 65. I know it stated it on the vid. I bested 85 on that boat before she went down. The Fantasm
Build on KBB Is the replacement. Thanks to Jason for a smokin' deal on it.
Ben had given me the motors and speed control to 'up the anty' on the Shocker that are now in the Fantasm Travis.

I miss it. That puppy sliced through the air like no business. I would and will have another at some point. Bit shaky on a chop but on glass was awesome. Took a bit to get her to corner too.

it has quite wide flat pads that start to "slap" the waves making it toss around a bit. I would like to try modify'ing the pads a bit. Perhaps I will come across a FG one cheap one day.

Hey bro, finally finished my Shocker........ Had to make some mods to get the drives to fit, but it turned out pretty nice. I am also playing around with running one esc w 2 1600kv's just to see what happens. Surprisingly so far no issuesIMG_20140315_143541.jpgIMG_20140315_143554.jpgIMG_20140315_143607.jpgIMG_20140315_143620.jpgIMG_20140315_143925.jpg

I know it has been done. I think there is or can be a little startup issue but I never did hear a follow up on the longevity. Feels good eh Travis. Job well done. I am just waiting for the rain to stop to take the Fantasm out for maiden.

I flipped it in a corner. No biggie but I tried the rescue boat and the back half took on water, still no biggie as the front should have an air pocket to hold it up,, right? Well the week before I tagged a marker buoy but good right between the sponsons. All looked fine but I must assume I got a hairline crack in the nose and the air let out. I was filling the dingy with air and when I looked back up, SHE WAS GONE. 40ft right there but I have a diver that likes finding things for people. And yes I had foam in it but I guess not enough. They are very streamlined hulls. Not much room.
