This vid does prove a point as to how far boats can travel when airborne and spectators need to be fairly far back from the pond for safety reasons.

Something we all need to consider when others are around watching.

Just food for thought.

Glad no one was standing there. That's a great example of why you shouldn't make high speed passes towards yourself or other people. You never know where a boat will end up once it leaves the water!

Hopefully it didn't do any serious damage.
