I don't want to keep hearing about it for the rest of my slo mo bumpin boat movie making days.

Fine! This weekend, we will be doing some practice at the club pond so I will recruit a filmographer to do just that.
hopefully we get some glass for super smooth fast running and everybody will be happy!

I don't get you guys! what is so thrilling about seeing an 3 foot boat going freeway speeds and tearing up 5-6hp shredding the poor water like it was cool whip??
What is so beautiful about the 20foot wall of water and turbine sound of the 30K rpms? You guys are just junkies!!!

              Jesse,
You may want to confirm with Jay if it was an ABC 1816 rather than the ABC1916?

Thanks but I am sure it was 1916. He told me he was running a 1914 on his p sport.
Yours may want a smaller or different prop. even moving more weight toward the prop can do it. I know that what I put the gps back there it hopped like crazy.

Jay had asked why the 1916 and I said I thought it was what Jesse borrowed from you...he went back to his log book that weekend and had 1816 wriiten down... Doublecheck with Jay.

I guess its a battle of log books...

I have been racing the 1816 on my P Sport Hydro with the Neu 1521/1.5D although I have tested the 1914 and it had too much amp draw for my boat. The 1914 drew an average of over 210 amps during a one-mile heat and the ESC registered 250*F! The 1914 is normally run on the Q Sport boat. The only 1916 I have has never been run - it isn't even sharpened and balanced.

But what matters is not what I ran but what works on your particular hull. It seems your hydros may need less lift than I can get away with on my Shadow. That makes sense since I added considerable lift to the sponsons and a lifting prop will balance that out. Your hydro does not have that amount of front lift. An x450 or x452 may be ideal. How much amp draw did the x452 have Todd?

I wish I had the information Jay. I Definetly need to start gathering the data.

Todd, all the data is in your Castle ICE200. All you need is the Castlelink and a computer with Internet access...

Jay, I have the Castle Hydra 240 amp. I'd have to get an Eagle Tree wouldn't I?
