Looks great! I was wondering how this hull would handle with one motor/prop. They seem to be very stable in the straights. How fast is it?

Keith , I had one with single motor setup and they SUCK every bad habits that the genesis has this hull match it up , it hooks spins out and everything else , as far as straight shot is very stable

Thanks Keith but it's actually a twin. A pair of 2200kv tacon's with x447 props on 5s don't have an actual speed but guessing in the 70s hopefully will get a radar gun on it this weekend. Very stable boat in the straights even with a good ripple on the water it turns ok just need to know how to drive it.

Hmm...I thought it looked like one stream of water coming out when you first took off, but watching it again I can see two once it gets going. I guess it sounds like a twin too, but I build so many twins I kind of forget that they don't all sound that way.

          4074 tacons?

I think you're pretty close on the speed. I just ran mine today at 72mph and it looks very similar.

I agree also...this thing is PLANTED in the straights. I've had mine as fast as 78mph and I haven't even came close to being concerned yet. The first run I ran with the props turning outward and it came out of the water alot, but with the props turning inward it seems to stick to the water.

It looks like you went much further forward with the motors than I did, but your ESCs are back further, so it probably ends up about the same.
To bad we didn't live close, I would love to run them side by side...it would make a sweet video!

Hah probably am but living this close to the Ozarks, it would be fun to take the boats down there and even see. I might even have my cc1515 in and I need a prop and I can probably hit 60. Hahah jk
