ML Boatworks: GP 335 - P sport hydro maiden voyage

After a week of scrambling to get the paint on between humidity spikes and all the goods crammed in there, I got a chance to test and tune today. Here is vid.

Running weight is almost 9.5 lbs. specs are in the vid, but are:
    motor 1521 1.5D
    ESC Castle 240 LV
    Prop octura detounged 452
    all speedmaster hardware
COG about 2" behind sponson transom

temps were high at the start - 105F on the table during tape up. and 140F motor, 175F ESC.

After bringing the strut to neutral angle and up some - 7/8" or so, the hop went away and she handles great. I put the gps in the back for one run - bad idea. she did not like weight on the prop?!?

I will have more vid after race next weekend. I will be racing Q sport hydros...

Congrats on the new boat Jesse. Nice job of taking my poor camera work and making it look good. I will do better next time. Great time running today!

Ok Jesse, I think this is the best video you've made to date-- the music is perfect for that boat!

Yeah, great musical choice as well.

I noticed that from 0:30 to 0:40 that the right sponson tip doesnt even touch!! I guess the turn fin is keeping it up.............obviously cant see these things in real time. Looks great!
