ML Boatworks 1/8 Scale 1982 U-8 Executone Hydro

1 year later and I finally have a video to share of the ML Boats 1/8 Scale 1982 U-8 Executone Hydro running.

    Setup includes:
    1527 1y 1250kv
    8s 6600mah
    Swordfish 240hv
    1/4" flex
    Prather s230

I've tried a few different props on this boat. I'm liking the s230. I need to make up another one because this one has the tips rounded down and I've heard that the tips give it lift. I will also be trying a 1452. I tried a 1455 and it was too much prop ...the boat did a slow motion backflip at 50+(too bad I don't have that on video) and it wasn't settled in the turns. With that being said, I won't push this boat too hard again....I'll save the bashing/racing for my mono's =)

Very true ....I hope to get good enough to drive fast wide ovals around the fountains

Here is a new video/movie(I added some effects like slo-mo and music) taken from a fast run around our local clubs pond. I don't know the exact size of the pond, but with the buoy markers, absence of fisherman, low turtle count, and the ability to turn off the center fountain, I can run low 60's here.
