    FighterCat Daytona, first full run!!

After fixing the drive shaft (added a flat spot for the drive dog), this time at the pond was a little more successful, on the first set of batteries that is...Here's a couple videos with a TFL 444 prop, 2 2S lipo's (4S), Leopard 4074 1800KV motor and Seaking 180 ESC. I gotta say this thing handles like it's on rails!!

Temps were nice and cool, i didn't even get my laser guage out! ESC was luke warm at best, same with the motor. I explained a problem i had in the general forum, i fried the collet/shaft when i propped it up for a second run. One more short video too...

Trimmed out nice. The collet will live.Well,if it is one of FC's stainless ones.Mine did,I did the same thing in the twin.Shaft may not be so good.

Glad to see her going, wish I had a pit lake that big.I see there is a rowboat boat there just in case.

Oh yeah, wouldn't run there with out the row boat!! It it a really nice pond, the owner of the land is really nice guy and as long as i'm with my buddy (who is good friends with the land owner) we can use the pond all we want! It's gonna continue to get bigger as they dig, future plans are to make it big enough for actuall boats and jet ski's for camping, water skiing and general recreation.
