My HCM Jet Boat in rough water!

Hi, been a while since my last post here, but I've been into scale stuff. This boat I built as a 1/25 scale HCM 24' Granite. I built everything by hand including the water jet! Since it's a scale boat I didn't figure it would get much love on here, so I never posted a build thread. If anyone wants to know how I did it, let me know and I can post one up. The whole thing is only 11.5 inches long. It's TINY!

The water was very rough and the waves were larger than the boat! This being said I couldn't go over 1/4 throttle without getting airborne and the jet losing prime. In the 15 minutes I ran I never even tried more than 1/2 throttle. By the end of the run I began learning how to manipulate the throttle over the waves and keep the prime, but before I could really begin to get it going there was too much water inside to continue. I used a larger battery than I originally anticipated and my hatch didn't seal with it installed. I have a new plan for keeping the water out, so next time should be even more fun!
