    When your luck runs out.....

    When your luck runs out, you'll have to start swimming.

    Exactly what happened to me today.



    Was playing with the rib on the river clyde and it was just a bit rough.

    I thought it would be fine, its a rib its got plenty of flotation if it does flip.

    plus the wind will blow it in but unfortunately for me the tide had other ideas

    I soon flipped the boat and was reduced to skivvies on a beach in Scotland.

    Even though the sun was out the water is still arctic cold!

    heres me flipping the damn thing



    I think ill be doing a self righting build thread soon!

    Move the CG foreward, too light in the bow.

      Where do you get these rib's from?. I repair inflatables here in oz so manufacturing or repairing the tubes shouldn't be much of a problem, just real fiddly. I have never seen anything like this before, awesome they are, nice vid. Gus

        It's foam heating insulation bought from a DIY shop.

        I used zap 30min epoxy to attach them to the hull.
