What settings did you use on the Seaking 180, did you set to auto calculate on the cells or manually & what lvc & timing. As i know some have had problems with lvc cutting in to half throttle when using auto calculate on cells.

I always switch off the lvc on seaking esc which are too sensitive.
But i leave auto calculate on the cells.
I tried different timing until 22.5°, the motor is still cold

Do you just time your runs so as the voltage dosnt drop to low.

Do you use the JAE turn fin on the sponson or perhaps a smaller fin or no fin for SAW runs.

Exactly, no turn fine for saw runs, the difference is 7-8km/h

Thanks for that, also do you use the bec on the esc or a separate power supply for the rx & servo & do you fit the esc in front of the battery with quite long wires to the motor.

no I don't use the bec of the esc, I use a ubec and exact, the esc is in front of the battery with long wires to esc

I notice you have been having problems with the boat pulling to the right, one of the mods that helps with this problem is to use toe in on the front of the right sponson around 2-3mm. This is a pretty standard mod on the JAE boats if they pull to the right & wont run straight.
