    Diesel's TFL Osprey 41" Mono

Finally got a little vid of my big mono. Good wot oval running starts at 2:00m. Lots of kids out, so was giving a few high speed passes in front of them. Needless to say I heard a lot of "mommy mommy I want one".

Very nice Diesel I am running the exact same setup and boat. Only difference is I am using 1 6s pack to comply with racing rules here in Oz. I reckon you cuold push out to the X450/3 with no dramas. I have run a prop shop 3 blade 50mm x 1.8 pitch but it needs big amps to push it and it helps if the water has a nice ripple on it. The X450/3 is the best balance I think.

    Cheers and nice boating.

Thanks. Big boat that's for sure, but I dig it. I think I'm going to stick with the x447/3 for now. Its fast enough for me as is. If I get the urge I might push it on the x450 but for now I'm pleased.

Looks good Diesel,I was gonna ask what prop you were running but I can read.I have a DF 35" with 1717 6s2p now(new to me).It came with a X646 and I've got a X450/3.Any other ideas on props,I was thinking of getting hold of Dasboata.

Sorry for delay in getting you that info. I adjust my CG between 28-30% length of the hull. No sure if that helps you, I can't look at my hull as I'm work...

Diesel do you think a T600-1400kv outrunner on 6s would work in this hull as it should push a decent size prop with the torque the motor has. Was looking at T180 esc as well or do you think the motor is to small for the Osprey. Thanks Martin.

Hey Dale how is that thing running these days ?
There is a guy looking to build one,
Using the stock setup first and then going with this setup.
A lehner 2250/9 1315kv motor 8 or 9-cell lipo battery and hifei pro plus 300A hv speed controller?
See if you can point him in the right direction for this hull.

Hey man. Sorry late to reply. I traded the boat a while ago for a Trex 500. I'm down to 3 boats. Been flying more lately. Had about 7 helis, now down to 2. Planes I've doubled though lol.
