Traxxas Spartan -- SCREAMING brushless motor sound......

Listen to the roaring sound of the brushless motor powered by 6s 10,000mah lipo.

Cool boat. You will find it turns better to the right, most all R/C boat racing is done in a clockwise direction for a reason. That may help you to keep the Spartan off the dam, rocks, etc.

      Why didn't you just reverse?

Because of the extra capacity of the lipo battery, Spartan in reverse direction still won't be able to make turn once the boat stalls.

I found that it is easier to make turns with faster speed.

Cool, where in Taiwan are you? My brother in-law teaches English in Taipei and is in to R/C. We got to visit him a few years back and I came home with a nitro car in my suitcase.

I have the same boat, and I'm glad your happy with yours. But you can back up regardless of the battery inside. The only problem with backing the Spartan is water will spill over the transom if you try to to go too fast. Have a blast with your new Spartan.
