    Jersey Skiff First Wet !

Well I'm jazzed ! What fun !! With 2 X 4S 3600's looked a little loose but she runs pretty much like the bigger gassers I've seen. Next 2 X 4S 4000's for a little more ballast. Motor : AQ 1800 - SC Turnigy 120 new gen. Driver passed field sobriety test prior to launch ; that's just how they run (and where the fun/challange lies).

    Rock & Roll !!!

Looks good Tony. Speed looks good. Definately running too loose though. Can you adjust the strut or is it fixed? Wish I could have been there today.

Thanks ! What a fun boat ! By the looks of things, my plans for a future motor upgrade are somewhat optimistic; much faster and ther'd be no control at all

Strut has + 3 degrees up in the back. Heavier batts & some strut & tab tweaking should do it.

            Mark,

I'll tighten it up some; 2 X 4000 4S packs should help. Tabs down a tad & I like the strut up some - under full power it keeps hull up & out. I modified the strut - instead of the stuffing tube going all the way through I have it just entering the nose of the strut to allow adjustability, and made a .250 bushing spacer inside the strut to accept the 3/16 shaft bushing.
