In the UK 8/10 mono's come with a flood chambers. I have bought both my Mono's from HK and the US and they don't have a flood chamber. I'm wondering whether the flood chamber gives you less speed as Mono's don't seem to go as fast as they do in the States. The great thing is you wouldn't care if you flipped the boat because you know within 2secs it would be back in business. Brilliant for races.

Totally cool vid ! Reminds me of something I've nearly forgotten since getting hooked on racing : Pure Fun. Good job on making the DF29 self righting. Man, I live a mile from the Pacific Ocean and have these two on the bench :

the racing times are much longer in Europe. Also a flood chamber makes balancing the hull much more challenging.

I don't think that boat uses flood chambers.

Yeah I haven't got into any of the races yet but maybe when I have tested out my Cyber Storm will give it a go. They seem to do it by mile long races a lot here but I have seen a few SAW races.
