    LOL didn't have enough prop.
Geico motor, Swordy 120, x645, Zippkits rudder and Jae 12 turnfin on custom bracket, speedmaster hydro strut.
Did a full 3 minute run with that setup and motor temps were about 88 and esc was in the 70's! Mind you the water was pretty darn cold. Batteries were at 3.83v.
That isn't what I plan to run it in, it will get a UL-1 can for next season, just really wanted to get it wet before winter.
Was the Finley plan with some sponson mods, ran great and stable right off the building board, didn't even need to adjust the rudder trim.
Ran the strut at 0* with the x645 and it was solid as anything.
Will be a fast boat once I get the final setup done.
Also will do a easier to tape bubble canopy for it, keep the scale one and wing for shelf queen duty.
Next on the list after finishing some other projects will be a kneeler hydro, 3 of us planning on building them this winter.
Have a half built JAE mini sprint, a VS-1 still in the box, a hotshot 21 sprint I may sell and just bought a H&M Drifter S and 2 .12 nitro boats that need new motors! Good thing snow plowing leaves me plenty of free time during the day!
If my boats upside down then who owns the one I thought I was driving the last two laps?

Yep. . . I like the way she runs, Mark and hoping for similar results when we each get done with the kneeler builds. Maybe by then I'll be a little more adept at operating the video cam. Of coursethe season isn't over quite yet.
A dream not pursued is not worth holding.
