Sniper run with hobbyking onboard camera

Sniper run with onboard camera front & rear view , This is the hobbyking $37.00 unit with a class 4 micro-sd card - a class 6 is minimum so needless to say I am very happy with this little unit for the price - speed was approx 60 miles per hour

Thanks for looking , funny thing we all noticed with everyones boats , It is near zero here especially in the mornings in fact Sunday morning was -5 celcius . we all notice at least a 10% reduction in speed due to the cold water . If any egg head science guys can explane this I would love to hear it . We all expected to run cooler but definitly not slower .

        I love that boat!
And when the temp of a battery is lower, the voltage drop increases when they are under load. Kinda like lowering the discharge rate of the battery. They have this problem in the air force when they try to run small electric UAV's.

That is a wild video shot. It would be cool to see that boat view on a imax screen, might get us sea sick lol.

Yes Peter it is strange how the cold affected all our runs, if only one boat ran I would have thought there might have been something with the setup or packs but I had my lipos in a heated cooler until I ran my boats and all 3 ran slower than when we were running at 25C weather . I know the drive line grease on mine was stiff from the cold water so I will use that as part of my problem and water temp was close to 0C, could feel it through my sheep herding boots lol.

OMG Ken - I get dizzy watching this video - Imax would be killer

Hello Jacked1 - We all keep our lipo's in a cooler/heater , I usually bring mine out and there about 100* Fahrenheit or warmer . I think maybe its a combination of things due to the cold water........................
