    43'' Conquest - Neu 2230

This is my 43'' Aeromarine Conquest running today

    setup
    -Neu 2230/1y
    -Hydra 240HV
    -10s2p 45c packs
    -X465 prop

The run is about two minutes long. After the run all temps were really good - ESC was 95deg, motor was 92deg, and the packs were 101deg. The speeds on this run were 67mph. Based on how cool everything was there is still plenty of room to prop up. I haven't made any adjustments to it since it came off the workbench, so let me know what tuning it may need but it seems to be running well so far.

What a power and speed! You certainly need an allowance for that, don't you?!

        Thanks
Yes Dana, I was across the pond from Norm's at Joe's house. He's got a nice spot to run and shot the video for me

i am liking this setup..the big neu is not even breathing hard in this one..you can run that thing on 12s i am sure it would be high 70's if you wanted to proabably prop back around 60mm though for 12s

Kevin where was the voltage on the packs after the 2 min run? I am in the process of building a 45" Hydro and I am hoping to get 2 minute runs on 1p.

Raydee, the run was 2min 45sec. The packs were were 19.1v (3.83v per cell) after the run, they are charging now but I'll let you know how much mah I put back into them. I was running four Neu 5s-5000mah-45/92c packs.

Runs very well..........nice and stable for sure! That motor is not taxed yet at all as pointed out by ripfence, if you want to stay 10s to utilize your batts you may consider a Prather s260...................Nice boat.

Thanks. I'm happy with the way it's running and with a few tweaks I'm sure it will get even better. I still have a x467 to try, but an s260 or x665 will be the next step if the heat stays low on the x467.

This is my biggest build so far and it's been a progression to get here. It started with an SV27, then Titan29, DF29, Rico29, DF33, Insane30, Spritcat34 and now the Conquest43.

Movin right up the line, huh! I guess you have a shim to run the X467........................still shouldnt raise the temps much over 100................still got some room!

Ya, I have a 3/16 to 1/4 shim to use for the x467. It seems like this motor will be able to swing alot of prop, I'll figure out which one to order after I try the x467.

Raydee - I put 2,300 mah back into each of the four 5,000 mah packs.

2300 mAh in a 2P setup is 4600 mAh used, about normal IME. A 1P/5000 mAh battery is not enough.....6500s would be.
