    32" Cat (HOTR Hull)

Went out with the guys boating yesterday and had timf shoot a video of my 32" cat. Temps were cool around 105 F using a detongued x445. My batteries are starting to show their age, 25c 4900 polyquests that have be driven hard on my df29 over the past few years so next season will be time for some new ones.

      Thanks Dan
The hull including batteries weighs 6.7 lbs. The Medusa 3680 is close to comparison in power as a Neu 1515. Peter (Punisher 67) here on OSE did some tests back in 2009 comparing the 2 motors in this thread. Medusa 3680 Vs Neu 1515. My DF29 runs a 8xl on 4S which has less power than this Medusa on 4S, gps on the DF29 with the same m445 runs at 56 mph but spikes to 156 amps. The last draw test I did with this cat using a x642 was around 85 amps, not sure what it is with the m445 but I know draw wont be even close to the DF's but I'm sure its faster since less drag. I will run my eagle tree with the gps next time I go out.

Looks like it runs very well! You should consider a couple of these batts..............i am sold on the Zippy/flightmax batts, i use Turnigy as well but these are very good batts and can you believe these are 25 bucks a piece for gosh sakes.............45C and 225 continuous amps!

Those batteries look great, thanks I definitely need a few packs for next spring.

Yes it's ridiculous how cheap they are now, 4 years ago I paid $80 for 2S 25c 4900mAh Polyquests and I got them at a good deal but just can't handle the higher amp setups we run. I run the 5000mAh 45/90c 6S Turnigy/Nanos on the Hydro but have read very good reviews on the Zippy's.
