Looks good.......................so two 3s batts in series................or two 6s batts in parallel???? Whats the Brand and kv of the 4074? Seems like you should get more speed out of 6s if its a 2000-2200kv.NEED PARALLEL CONNECTORS?? QUALITY 5.5MM, 8MM, 8 AND 10 AWG, GET THEM HERE:http://forums.offshoreelectrics.com/...est!&highlight=

2 3S in series. 180A Seaking. 1450 or 1400KV Leopard. I forget which one. 4074. X645 prop.
Gens Ace 5300mah 30C
i was told on the forums to keep the rpm to 28-32,000 so 6x3.2x1400 seemed about right.
two 6cell packs i don't think would fit in this boat. I tried to put two 5S packs in just to check and they fit with no room. you'd have to remove the stock battery tray and rig it up.Comment

I bet you'd get more speed with a little less agressive prop. Maybe an m445....or an x642 possibly.NEED PARALLEL CONNECTORS?? QUALITY 5.5MM, 8MM, 8 AND 10 AWG, GET THEM HERE:http://forums.offshoreelectrics.com/...est!&highlight=

Just FYI for the future your batts. are 3.7 volts/cell thats 22.2 on 6s actually closer to 24.? depending on what brand batts you have and where they peak out fully charged so you want to do your math as 22.2 X (motor kv) in your case that would be 31,080 if it's a 1400 kv motor your formula put you at 26,880. Just didn't want you to be misinformed as to how many R's you're turning your prop.
And.......aren't a LOT of guys turning MUCH more than that at times? It seems like I've noticed a lot of posts where after doing the math they're running close to 40k rpm. Is that a problem? On my setup 4s would be 29,600 5s is 37000 and 6s would put me at 44,400 sounds kinda crazy but seems like others are doing it.Comment
