How do you like gas boats compared to electrics ?
I was thinking of getting a Rio51z, But not shore if i would like the noise or how it may run.
Need to try one before i buy one i think.
How is your 40"cigarette doing ?

Lenny, don't get a Rio! Find a good deal on a used boat on JRCBD. The Rio is VERY problematic. I regret buying one, and have since built my own gasser.

Everyone around my age(40)started to play with glow engines.After many years i discover the electrics witch i prefer because they are quiet,powerfull,clean but we have to accept as you said that you play short time compared to gas or glow.I can't compare my cigarette with the x-ray because the xray turns like hell,and the cigarette is more powerfull at high speed but the turning is slower because of the hull design.
My cigarette had a bad moment with one of the battery's but everything is ok now.
