    32" Pursuit with CC1515 on 4S2P

    Hi guys,

    Here's a run from earlier today with my Pursuit on 4S2P, Castle/Neu 1515 2200Kv, Turnigy 180 and Prather 230.

Sorry about the quality but it was taken with a cell phone by a guy passing by, at the end of the video there is a nice flip, if you can see it...

The top speed on the GPS was 49.9 MPH with spikes of 180 amps (but I think it was actually more than that) and I melted the heatshrink around the etree logger.

Even with the extra weight of the two 4S 5000mah packs the boats keeps jumping in and out of the water, any suggestion about how to fix that is most welcomed!

But I think it's just too much power for it...

I'll post the etree logs later.

Thanks Jeff, I've tried an X642 after that, lost some speed but the hopping was still there, I don't think it can be called porpoising since the boat jumps out instead of bouncing up and down?

I'm sure my setup is wrong, the cg was at 10" from the transom, I'll try to reset everything to neutral and go again maybe tomorrow. She definitely likes the extra weight of the batteries.

The trim tabs and strut should be level with the keel, right?

Too bad the video quality is super crappy, it was a nice run!

Here is the aftermath on the logger heatshrink and the graphs.

EDIT: LOL, I read that backward... I'll drop the pitch and try to keep the diameter, I'll try a X448 next time. How about X450/3?

Where is your cog? It might be too far forward?

I tried from 9" to 11" from the transom, if I put it forward it's a little better.
