Flat-bottomed hull constructed from 1” & 2” Styrofoam sheets, 1/4” solid Poplar, 1/8” ply, & covered with 4 ounce fiberglass.
Powered by a brushed 540 motor/W 35 turn custom wound armature, mounted on an original version K&B 3.5 outboard lower unit, GR 42X55 prop.
Duratrax 8T ESC/W Reverse, water cooling modified.
Battery – 7 cell NiMH, 8.4 volts, 4200 mAh.
Scoop fabricated from 1/2” PVC & pool noodle, attaches to hull with two 1/4” nylon bolts.
R/C is from a twenty(+)-year-old Futaba FP-2PB AM Radio.
Top Speed with DaPooperScooper detached, ~ 7 to 8 MPH - - just enough to barely achieve plane.
