Well for the first time running this controller I think it went very well. This setup was at the extreme for testing purposes only. I need a different motor with less KV for this many cells. I was running a 455 3 blade prop and the boat was hopping and skipping because of the high rpms.
I think that says a lot for this controller since this was an ourunner at close to 30,000 rpms that other controllers had a hard time with. I also believe this controller is going to work great for 8 and 10 cell set ups becuase of the extra headroom you have with the 75 volt fets that are layed out in one layer on the board. This makes for better cooling and keeps the controller thin and easy to install.

At the introductory price fighter cat is selling these I don't think you can go wrong and will be happy for what you get. For me the next step is I'm going to torture one of these in a saw set up. More to come.

Tony, I just picked up one of these beasts from one of our local gas guys. I paid a pretty penny tho.... 50.00 complete hull and hardware.. hahaha

Wow, cool stuff. I don't see the need for a voltage that high, in that size boat, unless you have a little screamer. But does open lots of possibilities for some very large single motor hulls. Whats the amp rating?

IRF 3207's. 170 max sustained.. XPS tested one on 15s and let it sit at 172 amps on their EDF system. ~10,000 watts. There's been reports of much higher usage from customers. It's pretty neat. I had them made so I could do something with my LS motors. =)
