Miss Geico First run on stock

Hey guys, got my first run in today with the new proboat miss geico!

Shes a great boat! Ran completely stock with Turnigy 4s 5200mah and hit mid 30's. I meant to put my phone in to get speeds but I remembered right after i taped her up. And I wouldnt have been to get this video!

Ran like a champ, but i definitely learned a few things today. I rolled her on my first run lol it was little chopping but im surprised how little waa-waa there was, pretty good compared to other stock mg's ive seen.

sorry for rambling, pretty exciting stuff! Please comment!

4s1p, ill order some 4s batts when i do an overhaul, i was looking at the leopard 4074 2000kv and seaking 180 or T180. Maybe pickup a 3s 5200mah and run 5s with that. Lookin for a top at around 60mph with that setup, should be great!

i get around 5-6 minutes the way i drive

Just keep in mind, if you are going to try that, that this prop will pull over 70A continuous, with higher spikes. The stock ESC has been shown to be able to hold up under these kinds of loads over time, but it will be working pretty hard.

              Boat will be faster, however...

I put my phone in my MG (10 sat gps) and it read top speed as 33.5mph..

pretty disappointed but thats on completely stock. I recently broke my only 2 stock MG props so now i cant run it at all. I ordered an x642 and the offset rudder tho well see how she does after that. Than Ill move up to the 4074 and 180a esc!

Heres a run with the kintec offset.. I didnt notice much of a difference?

There wasnt much porpoising with my MG to begin with but I thought it would completely go away. Its not a real problem though..

This run was extremely long, I was gettin worried and thought the LVC wasnt kicking in or something. I ran for about 8-9 minutes longer after the vid ends. Guess it just felt long? idk.. But i do know long run times are always good
