I finally have been able to test out my Fountain I got over the winter from G Doggett. It came half way around the world back to the US from New Zealand. Graham did an amazing job on this build. I changed a few decals around but kept the Fountain Rio look.

First time out last week the ESC got wet and stopped working. I swapped it out with a Turnigy 120 marine. I kept the Hobby King KD36-74-9XL with a 1900 KV in that it came with.
Today GPS at 34mph with a X440.
X442 got me 40.9.
It ran great in the straights but not so good in the turns but that's what I expected.
After each run the temps were 98 on the ESC and 104 on the ends of the motor.
I then through on a x440/3 detongued. After a few passes the motor siezed up. I'm glad I didn't blow the ESC.
I just pulled the motor and the bearings look fine but something locked up inside. Shaft seems to be slipping on the rotor.
