Here is a quick video. I'm at the mercy of my wife shooting it. The first thing I told her was not to try and zoom in, did she listen? No....but she did manage to get some good shots including and end over end crash.

It only hit 57.9 on this run. I'm still messing with the trim. As soon as the boat starts getting close to 60 it doesn't want to stay in the water.

Think ive said this before but try some ballast to get the cog further forward run her see how much difference that makes then move things arround permenantly later to get it where it needs to be.Im sure it needs cog further forward and its not a trim issue thats my opinion anyway.Have you tried counter rotating the props the oposite way?.Can you get 7015/2 props in cr? theyre great mono props imo just not sure they come cr.

Yes I read your post about the extra weight up front, I will try it thanks. But what I am afraid of is bow steer, this is a common problem in the real performance boating world and is caused by to much weight forward or to much drive trim or to much trim tab.

I'll mess with it and see what happens.

Really what I think though is this hull is not built for speeds past 60 MPH. But of course I will try my best to get it beyond 60 as I am positive I have more than enough power. Just gotta keep it in the water.

The idea of the weight up front was not to make it bow heavy but to propper balance it because looking at how shes sitting in the water all the weight is at the back.A boat should sit pretty level in the water when stood still as im sure you know,im just going on what i see in the video so its hard to say for sure but when shes not moving the bow seems very high and the transom very low.I agree though these boats are not designed for 60+ mph so that may also be an issue.My guess is you have a lot of negative angle on your props to push the nose down? while i feel if the cog was further forward you could keep the props neutral which would help speed and handling.She seems to be skidding on the chines up front because the props are forcing the bow down and raising the transom causing her to act a little squirely?.Thats how im seeing it in the vids but again its all guess work on my part based on the vid .Im sure you will sort it and get her well over 60 but you might need different props to get the handling you want.

I like everything you have said here. First the boat is not made for that kind of speed. It is a sport boat as is all of lBonzi stuff is. I have never seen a bonzi hull in races not even offshore. If that boat was a 60mph hull someone would have been using it in open offshore. I would but a dime to a dollar you have negative in your prop settings to. Great call there.
