Pulling "Hole Shots" -- Sprint Cat 40 -- Flipped out!

Pulling hole shots with my Sprint Cat 40.
    Twin CC 1520 motors
    6S2P -- 10000Mah total
    X447 Right and Left props

Sorry for the poor videos -- I am running the radio and the camera.
Check out the flip - it was caused by "Blast Acceleration" raising the bow too high.

This thing is standing on the props, bow high, when starting (it almost flipped about 30 feet out!). Flipped when I got off the throttle, then got back on.

Note the "bow high" attitude when starting, then I ran out of lake!!!

    Check out this "wheele"

    My other toy:

Yah! See the prop torque roll that boat!!

On a twin it stays flatter.

      Good action shots!

          They are just T180's

          I am learning about batteries.
Those "hole shots" were with 40C batteries.

The 25C zippeys dont even compare - they will not do hole shots and they are visably slower. All are 5000Mah times two batteries.

Pulling hole shots must be really hard on the ESC's !

I've got the same thing happening with my Top Gun and twin 1717's with X450/3's. I'm also using T180's and I've recorded 300 amps per on hole shots so be careful with the 25C lipos.

I wonder what the top speed of your cat is?

                Oscral,

Is that 300 amps for both motors or just one?
                What batteries are you using?
1717's are a lot of power!

                Brussless55,
I have nothing to measure the speed, but I can guess:

I am running 6S and 1600KV so thats 35500 RPM unloaded.
X447's pitch is 2.59 inch so my speed, with 20% slip should be about 69MPH.
But thats with unloaded RPM, so I figure the speed is in the low or middle 60's.

I have 1800KV motors (cc1518) ready to drop in, that would get me into the 70's
BUT I'am scared! for now this is all the speed I can handle!

                    Just 1 motor. I'm using Turnigy 5000mah 40C in 6S2P setup .
                    I've measured 68mph so far.
