    50" mono gasser conversion

I built this over the winter. Bought the hull bare (with some hardware) and installed a Leopard 5692 (1090kv), swordfish 240HV. Running on 8s2p 5000mah 46/92C. Prop is a x457, a little small but the biggest I had in my prop box. It still runs pretty good even with the somewhat small prop. There are very short blips where I hit full throttle in the vid...My steering rod seemed to start to bend today when turning and it affected handling greatly so I was a little gingerly on driving it. I will be putting a larger steering rod on it before running again. I did some straight runs before the vid (when the lipos were full) and got 57mph. Im sure in a larger puddle I could get 60 just by staying on the throttle. GPS after this vid was 54mph.

Boat is for sale in the swap shop by the way...

There were actually alot of dead fish threre...maybe 50. Most of them floated to on edge of the pond (that's the edge I avoided) but I was a bit worried about hittting one that could have been lurking in the middle. Im not sure how they got that way...
They were 10"-20"+...very big fish for such a small area. Im surprised they survive in such a small pond...wait....I guess that last part was a bit of a stupid statement...

In larger ponds, not uncommon for captive fish to overbreed and then starve out the big..
The spawns (little fishies) have a smaller quanta diet than the bigguns who will be added to their menu ..

The circle of life, yada yada ..

Love seeing you use a big 5692 Keith. That hull runs out nice.

Thanks guys. I was actually a little light on the throttle that run. The steering rod was bending and it would erratically hook in the corners. The time before when I ran it I was able to corner at full speed. I plan on going to a bigger steering rod before taking it back out.
