I am very pleased with my surge crusher from joysway, I have a low rpm set up in it and run a 54mm prop. With the strut level with the rear sponson there is no torque roll other than a little on start up. It also went 40mph out of the box and handles at full high speed very nice. I have flipped mine plenty of times but it is always while I am turning hard. The hull had to be reinforced under the motor and new stuffing tube but other than that it is an incredible value! I might need to look into an x-blaze!

The x-blaze doesn't really do 85k /50mph out of the box can it? Faster than the UL-1?

Hi Bill is the stock boat & motor/esc better suited to 4s, ive saw some early specs on the X Blaze before it was released which said 6s but all the recent specs ive seen now say 4s. I can now get just the hulls complete with motor mounts, battery & sevo trays fitted not sure whether that includes stuffing tube fitted as well or not.I might just have to get one as ive got a Leopard 4074 2200kv motor sat here doing nothing, what do you think.Regards Martin.

Hey Martin my experience is with the super version by joysway and 4s is cozy. Great runtime cool temps but
But we are going to try it on 6s. I saw a video of it and it was absolutely ferocious. I speak highly of it but were talking about a boat that is so stable i have literally never capsized it.. Martin Get one man. I confess itll be brbut nothing like your warrior.. I just want someone else on here to testify. Folks saw mine at the nats last year and at least 4 guys praised it in the pits... This boat handles. Loses zero speed in corners corners flat as a hydro which puzzles my uncle I love the thing

If the Blaze still has capsized (by chop water, other boats, etc.) does it come back itself? I know there are Joysway Warriors (I've got also one :) ), some of them turns back itself when capsized, other ones don't. So I was wondering how it will be with the Blaze, it's the same hull but than somewhat bigger. It can be (very) rough, especially driving in competition. Then, when you are capsized and the Blaze does not turn back, it's over...

There is also a huge gap in price between the white (normal version) and red version (super version) of the Blaze, I was first wondering why... It cannot be alone that the red one (super version) has the extra trimtabs, a 3 bladed metal prop, other motor and higher amps ESC.. Although, when I 'am adding some 'prices' then it could be this gap... and the red color ofcourse . But it is still a serious price gap, most boaters would go for the cheaper white one, I think. As far as I can see is the normal white version also a good boat for e.g. competition, right? The normal version is for 3-4s lipo max, the super version is more for 4-6s ?

                      Greetings, beejay

The Warrior is an amazing little hull, but the X-Blaze is PHENOMINAL.
JUST get it. It will likely self right, but not designed to. I'm telling you, it just won't capsize on you. I can turn full left then full right at full speed and it holds.
The super version comes with a BIG OLD motor (that i'm not allowed to run and won't) but its a nice motor. HUGE like nothing I've ever seen Bigger in diameter than a coke can, yet as short as one of those tiny 7up cans we used to get in the late 70's Not bad for something in an RTR

Just buy the boat. If it treats you bad you can call me out on it.
I've had 3 and every one of them is a winner. They need little more than the trim tabs set neutral and the strut set neutral in case things moved in shipping.
Light that boat up and watch how she treats you. The super version is spend but worth it.
The stock electronics are more the adequate. My sponsor Global Hobbies sent me one to test, so Its under our umbrella.

Bill did they change the motor on the super,i know originally it had a big 45mm diam can motor & the cheaper white boat had a 36MM can motor. All the ones ive seen come to the UK all have a 36mm can motor including the Super, the white one had a 3656 motor & the Super was 3660. Martin.

I noticed joysway has made some power plant changes since the Neo crisis..

The vids speak well for it !! ..... I agree with there motor position being far forward atleast from my expieriance the motors gyro effect made my Titan 29's charge threw chop with more stability than having the motor as far back as possible , bow seems to bounce or pop up on chop more with a setup that has motor close to transom...... Great RTR boat ! I will be mounting the motor on my next t 29 build under the bow again like my last one , just won't do inline setup again( didn't like how it turned) ... Kind of a old vid pay no attention to the Fdm stickers, ha ha .... In the vid you can see boat likes to run level and goes good in the chop , the high wind likes to grab the hull a few times in the vid.......http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=UpubHC-5DHg
