Hey Chuck, nice boat. Looks like it runs great!

I have the same boat, but got mine with the included hardware. Pretty basic, and no water pickup.

Currently running a Golden Horizons 4700kv motor: http://www.aeromicro.com/catalog/gol...or_3964443.htm

and a old mamba 25 esc. Prop is the mhz k series 31mm 1.4pitch carbon unit: http://www.mhzusa.com/K-Series-31-mm...m-2318-31R.htm

Now here is my problem, it gets hot! The stock harware does not have any provision for water cooling. I see that you use the ose micro kit and it has a strut mounted water pickup. Any ideas what I could do to add water cooling? Maybe a prop wash setup? I have never added water cooling to a boat so some guidance would be greatly appreciated! I hate to change all of the hardware as this is just a play boat...

I do plan to run the same HK 35amp esc you used, size looks to be about perfect. And since the GH motor I have is finned I think I may folow your lead with the cc 26mm 4600kv motor, cheap at 25 bucks. Pretty sure I have an 1/8 couple that will fit the mhz wire drive, or I can drill the current one out, as the Gh motor has a 2.3mm shaft. I have a few sky 1300 40c 2s lipos that fit well, and seem to offer plenty of power!

Also, is this the water cooling motor jacket you used?: http://www.offshoreelectrics.com/pro...?prod=gnd-4195
