I bought this setup http://www.offshoreelectrics.com/pro...prod=ose-80085 and used the strut for the 3/16 shaft and moved the rudder. The boat never handled with the stock setup. Now its much better.

Leopard 1500kv with turnigy 5000mah 30c 4s and 5s batteries. Esc is a swordfish 240hv and i set the timing to the middle setting. The prop is a octura x645 and the balance point is 13.25 inches from the rear. The boat will go faster, I'm just waiting on my new prop. If you run this setup on 9s DO NOT RUN A PROP UNDER A X645 you will over rev the motor.

Wow, Isn't 50,000 over reving the motor? I just got that motor for my 32" cat, I am going to run it on 6s. I guess I could cram a 3rd battery in there. I guess I am a RPM wuss too.

The bigger the prop the less rpm. If you want to go fast you need rpm.

Really? I cant imagine the current that setup is pulling. Do you have anything to log current and voltage with? I ran a 1600kv 4082 in my 34" cat but it was an absolute current hog when I went over a s220 prop.
