        DISAR,

I always loved the 36" Sprint Cat, great boats. Yours looks like it is running great, However: I just wanted to see how you beached it.

Thanks Dennis, the boat dived (at the end of the video) but came up to the surface immediately. I have securing pins and bolts on the hatch so it stayed in place. The water is very shallow there up to the knee so I walked and got it. Nothing bad hapened, very lucky lol
The boat has a lot of reinforcement, carbon kevlar, industrial epoxy putty forward

that is a great running hull. Nice Job! - I will be in Athens on July 9-11 after my vacation in Crete. I would like to see where this is. Does everyone run there on sundays?

Thanks! Crete is a beautiful island, I can propose some places to visit. You will see a lot nicer places there than the one on the video. The problem is that in summer time this beach and almost every beach is quite crowded, so it's quite hard to run the boats. Maybe early morning or late evening, but yes we go there on Sundays...
The Sprintcat is a really nice boat!
                    cheers

That's great. Crete is bigger than Kos, I have a house in Chania where I spent many summers since 5 years old. South part is for privacy and quite, and north part is busy-(beach bars etc...).

I recommend to visit these places:

Chania or Hania town- Old harbour of Chania
                        Rethymon
                        Agios Nikolaos

                        beaches (quite and beautiful):
                        Falassarna
                        Paleochora
                        Elafonissi
                        Matala

                        beaches (busy)
                        Agia Marina & Platanias (Chania)
                        Hersonisos & Malia (Iraklion)

I wish I could go too now lol. Sorry for the off topic.

                          Dimitris,
For sure you live in a beautiful place, somewhere I have always wanted to visit. Even though I did 20 years in the US Navy I never went on a med cruise, so never got close. However; the video you saw of my boat was on a lake in my community only three eights of a mile down the road from my house. So,,,,, at least for RC boating I got you there...... I'm really excited to get my new hatch, should only be a few more days. Dennis (D&D)
