Told you their great little boats, Very underestimated until you get one & run it your self. Did you have to play around with weight in the hull or add extra weight to the battery side of the boat to get self righting every time or did it self right out of the box with just the weight of the lipo. Thanks Martin.

      Mono

I guess each has their own definition of fun. I'm conservative on wear and tear on boats and see it as overkill on power but that's my observation and i pay my own bills. I like speed but too much means more time in repair shop than in the water.

        re: wear and tear

we got 4 of these(from a different source, but it's the same boat) for last summer at the river and absolutely HAMMERED them. this was our first venture into the FE boats and we didn't "respect" them at all. we ran them like they were from toys-r-us and besides a few damaged hulls from poor driving they have been bullet proof.

I think our best GPS'd speed was 28, but considering the added weight of the GPS I'm guessing over 30 without the GPS.

No added weight, just the lipo and the esc on top of the battery.

This boat is bone stock. I don't see it as overkill at all. Runs great and is one of the best purchases I have made to date.

yeah that makes sense having the esc on the same side as the battery, Saves adding any weights & also keeps overall weight lower. Their great little boats that in my opinion are only equalled by the Mini Eco which is obviously an entirly different class of boat but still fantastic fun. I run these a lot & they are one of the most reliable boats around. I see many boats around that i run with having all sorts of problems at different times in one way or another but this little guy just seems to take all the punishment thrown at it. They certainly out perform their appearance in speed, manouverability, & having reckless fun. You wont a boat that selfrights as fast as the Velocity either. Thanks Martin.

Looks like to me that the boat could be trimmed out to lift the bow a little more. The stern was bouncing out.
