Yea the first thing out of Joe's mouth was you couldn't hit that buoy if you tryed. I was trying the new water cooled motor from AEO. The motor looks really nice and well built. I will get some pictures up when I can. The motor has a 3mm shaft instead of the normal 3.17 mm shaft, so the coupler I have doesn't fit right and I am getting a bad vibration. Anybody know where I can get a 3mm motor to 4 mm shaft coupler?

Here is a link to the motor. The shaft size is 3mm. This motor looks very good by the way and I believe is going to run great once I get the coupler I need.

Just 1 will be fine. The cable is one of those 4mm square drives that come with the boat. Its only square at the prop end though and round at the coupler end. Some set screws at both ends will work fine. I would like one as soon as possible Jeff.
                  Thanks

I will try and get it out Monday for you. Is 3/8" stock okay for OD size?

Yes thats fine. Not alot of room in the boat so 3/4 long is pleanty as well.
                      Thanks Jeff

Ha, I am testing the new AEO 400 water cooled outrunner, and ran into the same problem. There aren't many 3mm couplers out there. I need a 3mm-.098. Some guy over at RCgroups said he would make me one. I see ETTI has one, but it might cost me $20 by the time I ship it here.

I was thinking of giving that a try but I was playing with a 1/8" coupler, and it seemed to loose to me. There is .007 play in it. You don't get vibration?

There is actually less runout than the stock coupler had.I don't experience any vibration and I'm running 3s and a 31 mm carbon prop.
