wind was up today and I got antsy. talked a buddy into coming out during his lunch to vid/drive.

I learned this trip I need a faster card for the camera - but, it almost looks like I stopped for still shots, which I will do from now on.

Anyway, here she is.

my download speed stinks tonight, so only saw the first minute so far. That looks GREAT sitting out in the water and starting up like that. The water sloshing over the transom sitting still looks really cool!

Thanks guys, 20x optical zoom AND at high speed? the cool thing is that at 1/7th playback speed, the shakiness is much subdued (there is even anti-shake do-hickey). that is shooting 210 frames a second and playback is automagically set at 30 fps. I just realized that the 32MB internal buffering memory is filling up faster than it can write to my slo mo card - thus the random stills... so I got me ordered a superfantasmic high speed card that can write 20MB per second (probably 5 times faster).

I really like the screen saver idea! How do we make it so? We would need to maintain the jungly feel though...
