Morning Gents, my daughter got an SV27R for her birthday and nails the oval course first run.

I'm threatened by her, because her reflexes are much quicker than mine.
We will be having some fun with these, and she just may end up at the nats this year handling my lighhtweight classes.

She's a quirter that took everything in me not to go run today.
454 full roller 11:1 compression,TRW forged pistons, Crower con-rods, ti pushrods, ARP studs and fasteners, manley valves, 950cfm on a victor jr, MSD ignition, Holley electric fuel pump steel braded aluminum hoses throughout the plumbing, 3 dumps for the water cooling, wtaer pressure regulators throughout the system I ru it on race fuel mostly,
mercruiser block way too much to list SOLID running motor, I've blown my share, they built it in a way known as "Bill Proof" lol..

I REALLY like the hull, hits mid 80's on an a/b impeller with ZERO porpoise, wobble, chine walk, nothing.

The hulll was raced in the late 70's to early 80's as "Runnin wild" #565 then was basicly put in a time capsule for 20 years. it surfaced on a car lot in so-cal where the guy i bought it from discovered it, ripped the full aluminum 427 out, had the interior, steering cable, and jetovator cable redone then I took it from there.

Gel is original! Nearly flawless boat did far more sitting than running. i had the entire fuel system redone, takns re bunged to larger diameter fittings, new lines equipped for higher pressure, complete new wiring system from front to back, all new autometer liquid gauges, pump blueprinted, I had a 468 BELLOWING ready
to drop in I've had all gold anodized bezels, handles, switches, gas caps, you name it installed. The boat is really fast and pimp, this is the second boat i've built.

I will keep this one as a pleasure boat, maybe drag it a few times in NJBA river race and bracket classes for nostalgia, but I intend to build or buy a proven capsuled flattie, or capsuled fineline hydro..
