Not wanting to do a flood chamber in his DF 35, Allen has brought "Outside the Box" thinking to new levels in this bold attempt to further roll-back-over technology. The first test was inconclusive, but Allen's confident his design, once perfected will ultimately replace those pesky flood chambers.

Ever thought of an outside chamber on each side? ABS or FG to the sides. Simple and the farther out the better. Might be an easy mod.Comment

I too make my boats self righting with no flood chamber & have found that i have to put batteries & maybe some extra weight on the left or port side so that the boat sits down on this side when stationary but runs level once running. It also helps turning left because of counter acting against torque roll. But what ever device you add to the top to aid self righting needs to be offset to the right of the hatch to give a biased working with the biased that the off set weight that the batteries give. Ive found that having the self righting device in the centre dosnt self right as well + it needs to be a lot taller when fitted to the top of the hatch. A self righting boat is a god send as well.
