    BJ26 + Typhoon 500 + 4S = 70+km/h

    Hey guys,

Just threw together my BJ26 with a Typhoon 500 and a 90A ESC on crappy 2 x 2S 20C batteries on a x642 prop and hit just over 70+ kmh. Temps were less than 80F on the motor, esc and batteries!!

But it's probably because its 5C/30F outside in Canada now LOL

Nice! That's a cool setup! Heh, it's 78 here right now. Kinda chilly today.

Watch the heat on the wires on that motor, they are only 16 gauge and rated at 22 amps.

Yeah I think I remember you mentioning that the following was good replacement motor...what's the gauge size on this motor?

      Outrunner 1600KV

Yeah, much better. It doesn't use leader wires, it uses the larger stiff winding wires and is rated at 1500 watts. Likes 15 degrees of timing. =)
