batteries are pretty much 50/50 center of the boat, prop is octura m445 prop may need to be detorqued little tough on stock motor if u keep runtime under 2 min it may be ok gettin ready to upgrade esc and motor good cell are important i ran on that run, smc hardcase 6000 mah 30c
talking with darin about prop mod to m445 to see what he rec gonna hit chuck up here for advice he is the prop doc 4 sure

Thanks for the details.Looks like I'm ordering a bigger prop.In my video i was using a metal X440 that I robbed off another boat,the boat slowed down and cavatated in the turns.Bad choice.I only have three runs on this boat and I love it!I cant wait to get it dialed in to unlock its full potential.

try a x642 wks well be careful with the m445 on long runtimes it may do damage to motor and esc

How much prop clearance is left on the strut?? One thing I've feed back and that should be showing up on future MG shipments is that the strut is going to be mounted UP, centered on the transom. For some reason, these first ones were drilled up lower than designed, so the clearance is limited. Moving it up to the center of the mounting pad should force us to push the strut lower in relation, giving us the 50mm clearance that I designed the hardware to have. Wanted to be able to fit at LEAST a 50mm prop, not that I'd recommend that... yet!

X642 seems to be the hot ticket.Do you think there is a big performance difference between plastic and metal?

No they hold up better and are stronger do not flex like plastic

darin the m445-447 have lttle room but do clear like u stated lowering the strut somomore really steeltd boat down cannot wait to see what added power does 4 her she is a awsome awsome hull with so much prospect maybe twin stingers and dual BJ MOTORS on 4s-5s hmmmmmmmmmm that may be a blast 4 sure have a awsome week and tks for the heads up last night good talking to u as always, later papa
