    Vegas Deuce conversion

Couldn't resist this beauty - Lance gave me a good deal. This is the hydro in the hatch scuba diving story.

Still getting her settled down - strut was too deep, turn fin too big etc... now playing with COG and all.

here is vid - second clip is on 6S... whaddayasay, 60+ that's what I think after seeing my cat go 60 on that pond.

Sweet boat!!! Can you post some pictures of the clear plastic that's used to waterproof the inside of the hull?

          Jesse,

What is the thickness on the plexiglass? Also, where did you get the other cover to cover the motor?

I would like to do the same to my Vegas deuce, but I'm so worried about water getting in.

plexi was 1/8" from Ace hardware. the little micro canopy I made for my super micro cat and it just happened to fit nicely. You can also use anything with a little bubble in it, like the plastic they sell the 2 part Epoxy in at the hobby shop. Yep, water tightness is a life long project, especially with these dang nitro hulls.
