    Sunday Strol

Well I got some footage of some of todays run. Met up with my buddy that runs some really nice scale tugs. Got the Rico running pretty well. Didn't get any video of the JAE. Enjoy

You know I'm not real sure on details. He has a few of them. This one is around 24" or so. Has twin 380's with pro-boat controllers if I'm not mistaken. He frequents rc groups as jcis4me. Check out some of his builds there.

The tug is a Japan made injection plastic boat that comes RTR yes everything to run just charge the battery and add water! I changed out the original esc that ran both motors together. I wanted separate controls to crab sideways and spin in a circle. It still has the 380 size motors that came with it, and added Pro Boat esc's as Baked mopar quoted. My next change is new prop shafts and stuffing tubes, and larger props and kort knozzles.

There is a german gentleman that makes a 4 foot hull for the Smit class "TIGER SUN" tugs, i lost his phone number a couple years ago, i wanted badly to make this monster, What a retrieval boat this would make (grin). lost the email when i moved.

A couple of these are floating around germany and i saw one at a meet in bremerton 4 years ago. Amazing work.

              Nice rtr tug though.
